About Nabamita Kanjilal, DDS

Dr. Kanjilal is the newest member of the Rifkin Dental team at their offices in Yorktown Heights and Carmel, New York. Dr. Kanjilal attended dental school at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and completed a two-year residency in general dentistry at the NewYork Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She is a member of the ADA, NYSDA, AGD, and AACD.

Dr. Kanjilal is passionate about continuing education and is working to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). She is particularly interested in learning about restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Kanjilal has also made philanthropy an important part of her professional life by volunteering for many organizations such as Remote Area Medical, the Oral cancer foundation, and Making Strides of Eastern Long Island. Dr. Kanjilal grew up in a creative environment and spent her time performing bhangra and learning Indian classical music. She also enjoys cooking and trying out new cuisines.
