Loredana Calce, DDS

Dr. Loredana Calce is a board-certified periodontist specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, as well as the placement and long-term maintenance of dental implants. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, personalized care that helps patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health.

Dr. Calce's passion for dentistry began at an early age when she worked as a dental assistant in the Bronx. This experience sparked her interest in clinical dentistry and instilled an appreciation for patient care and teamwork. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Iona University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.

Following dental school, Dr. Calce completed her specialty training in Periodontics at Stony Brook University, where she also conducted clinical research examining the effects of lasers on dental implants.

Dr. Calce provides a comprehensive range of periodontal and implant services, including nonsurgical treatments such as scaling and root planning, as well as advanced surgical procedures such as crown lengthening, guided tissue regeneration, soft tissue grafting, tooth extractions, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and dental implant placement.

With an emphasis on patient education, preventive care, and long-term oral health, Dr. Calce works closely with her colleagues to develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs. Her approach combines clinical expertise with compassionate care to help patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their treatment.

Dr. Calce maintains professional affiliations with the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, Northeastern Society of Periodontists, Ninth District Dental Association, and New York State Dental Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Calce enjoys spending quality time with her family, hiking throughout the Hudson Valley, reading fiction, and watching a good thriller.
